I've done mostly nothing except go out and have high-tea wif mom...
the kuay a bit extra in the pic huh?...anyway orchard hotel is good for their mango cake. delicious~! :D
oh there was this interesting scene that happened at the fondue area. This mom and little boy were there, then the mom said,"you can only have two, if not i cane you." she actually said CANE! just because the son wanted to have more marshmallow???!!!...i felt sorry for the little boy...as he followed his mom back to their seats he kept saying, "mommy, don't cane me ok? mommy, don't cane me ok?" but the boy looked normal la...very cute, very energetic heh..did not look abused..but seriously the mom's words were too harsh i think..CANE CANE CANE?? for this??? the mom's nuts. i told my mom and my mom just shook her head and tsk tsk tsked...
in my entire life i think i was caned maybe 10 times max? i remember running around the dining table while my mom chased me with the cane when i was 5?..looking back, the scene's actually quite funny...when u get caned the buttocks hurt and i would cry and run to my room and my mom would come in like 5 min later to comfort me...
and if my grandma was around, all i needed to do was just run to my grandma for protection and she'll never ever cane me :D heh heh i love ah ma!! ah ma will always tell my mom in hokkien, "mai pa la, mai pa la" ("don't beat la, don't beat la") and i get away scot-free heh heh :D i think i'll go visit her soon, it's been quite long since i last visited her.

there are so many nice things i can talk about her :) this space would not be enough.
