what a day it has been.

I chose to study comm before law, cos i thot..y not get the easy stuff out of the way first?...but com 217 did not turn out to be easy to study, i spent 7 hrs on it!....and then i studied law the night before the big day---law mid-terms..only covered the 2 new chapters...and thot i wld go to school to study the rest...those tht were already tested briefly and then focus on the 2 new chapters again...the plan sounded pretty sweet. really nice...UNTIL...

THE COMM TEACHER DID NOT GIVE THE TEST TODAY!!!

so 7 hrs for absolutely nothing. i could have used tht number of hrs to study law...which brings me to the topic of the law exam...THE LAW EXAM WAS DIFFICULT!!!! i will remember Judgement NOV til' the day i die! i totally forgot what it meant when i was in the exam...not only that, i crapped like i've never crapped before...applied wrong principles/law, could not answer the 6 mark question sufficiently or maybe not even at all, did not get to check my paper and I think i may have gotten some of the terms wrong as well, basically whatever that could go wrong in an exam might have gone wrong in this exam.

so the exam ended at 3 pm and i've been unhappy EVER SINCE.

my shopping stint in Orchard did not seem to do anything for me...

i'm so mad, i'm so angry at MYSELF!!! what am i to do??? i'm so sad......

it's times like these that i'm glad i have a blog, cos it's not enough for my friends and family to know how sad and unhappy i am...I NEED THE WORLD TO KNOW. boohoohoo...

I had a great sleep last night, 7 hours of deep sound sleep, normal sleep, slept at 2+ am and woke up ard. 9+ am, got ready for school and changed the channel on the tv to channel 5 and was surprised to see the Oscars, i thought it would start at 10...anyhow i taped it before i left the hse...

when i came home i watched what was taped and fell asleep...some time after supporting actor...the feeling of falling asleep in front of the television is really great...i'm not really sure how i got off the chair and went to my bed but yeah i did and i woke up around 9+pm...

so...i have no idea who won best actor, best actress or which movie won the Oscar. I only know who won best director and only because i went to yahoo just now to check my email...and they had some news abt. it on the homepage...

award shows are super long, but there were quite a few entertaining stuff in between the giving out of the awards that i enjoyed...one of them was the sound effects choir..i thought that performance was just brilliant...

here's the progress of my studying so far:

started studying for COM 217's quiz on wednesday...i'm 1/3 way into the chapter...

n tht's it.

i still have not touched law! probably do it tom...




I slept at 3+ am and woke up at 5+ am cos i had previously spent the entire day sleeping...could not get back to bed ever since.

watched tv, TRIED to study law but failed miserably ( i only went as far as bringing the textbook out to the living room)...i have absolutely no desire to do the COM 217 assignment and the MGS Access homework...too many hands-on exercises...

and now i have to go to orchard to meet up with the MGS group...

wanted to swim just now, went downstairs and found out the swimming pool was closed for cleaning...asked the lifeguard what time it would be open and he said 11am..argh..so i'm here back home...

it's so weird to be up in the morning...i'm not used to it...

i'm sooooo bored! wanna play MJ later..but i think by the time i finish cell i'll have no mood for that plus it would be time to really start studying/cramming...

work never ever ends...

i would wish for no school, but what am i going to do then? i have no desire to work either...and i don't wanna be a bum and sit around doing nothing all day...i've been there and the feeling sux...so it's basically school or nothing...

wad a crappy morning.




i have a spiltting headache and tonnes of stuff to get done...only assignment i've successfully completed is native sun...getting full credit for it is enough cos ahem the numbers were making me dizzy and on my 3rd or 4th try i started plugging in rubbish numbers...

interesting thing is..i got a headache because i slept too much...and because i slept too much i'm falling behind in my work...




ok i was really dreading CNY...the ang paos did not entice me much...nothing about chinese new year really entices me...but somehow i was able to make this CNY "happening" for myself...

i'm glad we have one whole week of break...it gives me time to catch up with my schoolwork!

this is the most hectic semm ever!

sidenote: i'm so amused that they flew our mgo bubblesheets all the way to the U.S.




take a good look at this pamphlet...it's telling youngsters to skip class!! i was handed the pamphlet in orchard road and was about to throw it away when that last sentence caught my attention...*tsk *tsk *tsk...

talk about bad influence coming in all shapes and sizes...

i went into the student portal (the U.S. one) to check the answer keys to the exam we took...and found myself laughing instead at what the teacher did...she did say she was going to post the answers so that we could do self-scoring...or guess what we may get...here was what greeted me earlier (not the exact thing but similar):
